What is the minimum age to join the club?

•  We currently do not have a minimum age, however, to make the most out of the membership, the child should be able to play at the red or orange ball level.

Do you offer lessons?

• No, we do not. We have volunteer junior players and parents that run drills and match play. The child needs to know basic tennis - forehand, backhand, volley and serve. Please contact a private coach for lessons.

What does my child need to bring to drills and match play?

• Non-marking sole shoes, tennis racquet, and water. Hat, sunglasses, sunblock are at your discretion.

Can anyone participate in match play?

•  To participate in match play, the child needs to already know how to play a match - including serving, keeping score,  and etc. 

Does the club offer scholarships?

• Yes, HJTC offers scholarships to high school senior members in good standing. (Please see the Member Benefits page for more details.)
